How do you dress to impress?
It’s been said that the way a person dresses is an indication of their personality. If you are trying to land a photographers model job or even trying to catch the attention of a potential mate, the way you dress can have a huge impact on your success.
If you want to dress to impress it’s not difficult. There are a few rules to follow that guarantee that your appearance will be making a positive statement on your behalf.
Probably the most obvious rule when you dress to impress is to wear clean clothing that is well pressed.
Nothing speaks of sloppiness more than dirty clothes or items that are full of wrinkles. Even if you are just running to the corner store to fetch milk, it’s never a good idea to wear something that came out of the laundry hamper. You never know who you will see or meet there so it’s worthwhile to take a moment to put on something presentable.
By letting your fashion and photographers model facts become out-of-date, how will that affect your actions and decisions?
Make certain you don't let important fashion and photographers model information slip by you.
Choose clothing that fits well, covers everything it needs to cover and doesn’t slide up when you sit. This is especially important for models when choosing skirts or dresses.
Clothing isn’t the only aspect that you need to consider when you dress to impress. Your hair speaks volumes about you.
If it’s unkempt or not clean, it portrays a message that you don’t have the time or the inclination to care for it.
Running a brush or comb through your hair or pulling it back gives you a more polished and put together look.
Fragrance also plays a role in how you portray yourself. In order to dress to impress you should choose a fragrance that isn’t overwhelming. If you’ve ever been near someone who is wearing too much fragrance or an unpleasant scent it can be distracting. You may not notice anything else about them other than the odor. Therefore choose a light, complimentary scent. Most model photographers would prefer that you wear very little perfume when getting ready for a photo session.
It’s not difficult to dress to impress. It could mean the difference between success and failure in many aspects of life. If you want to make the most of your assets choose to dress in a way that shows you value yourself.

How to Create an Awesome Model Portfolio
This article is about creating a killer portfolio and I hope it will help when you are ready to take some action to start your career in modeling.
How to Create an Awesome Model PortfolioCreating a model portfolio is a process
Ok, you're ready to create your portfolio.
All you have to do is contact your local photographer, set up a photo session, have prints made and put them in a book, right? WRONG!!!You want your model portfolio to be professional, complete, and impressive when you show it. This is one of the single most important steps you'll take other than promotion so get it right! What is a model portfolio?
Your model portfolio book will be made up of a book with anywhere between 10 and 25 photos normally consisting of 9x12 prints. You will want a good selection of different types of "looks" in your portfolio. For example; have some photos created indoors in a home setting, some in the studio, some outdoors in different locations. Also include shots which may be considered commercial, fashion, casual, and editorial content. Ask the photographer to help you with choosing looks that best fit your personality and the type modeling you wish to pursue.
You'll also want to include a good headshot (without makeup) and a good body shot (swimwear or tight-fitting clothing) especially if you plan to apply to the larger model markets. These larger markets such as the top NY agencies like to see exactly what they are getting when they view your photos. They don't want to see fancy posing or clutter, just you so keep this in mind when creating model photos for them to view.Do not think that "more is better".
It's much more effective to have 8 absolutely beautiful, perfectly shot photos in your portfolio than 100 mediocre ones. Please keep this in mind when putting your portfolio together because it's very important! If you have to really pine over whether or not an image makes the grade for quality or belongs in your model book, it most likely doesn't.

People come into your life for a reason
People come into your life for a reason
This is one of those article that i can't help sharing.
People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.
When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person.
When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.
They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support,
to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are.
They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part
or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done.
The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on. Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn.
They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done.
They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.! LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation.
Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.
It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant .
Thank you for being a part of my life, whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime.

Modeling nightmare
Hey everyone
Totally sureal thing happened tonight.I was modeling at a catwalk show and one of the girls there had big curly hair that had been backcombed. When she was on the stage she accidently steped into a candle that was on a shelf at the back and her hair went on fire! Someone from the audiance jumped up on the stage and hit it out with the programme.Lucky she was ok and a doctor who happened to be at the show checked her over. She lost a little hair but was not burnt! However the smell of burning hair stayed around for the rest of the night! What is amazing though is that she came back out for her last outfit so not to let anyone down!!

My travelling to Jiuzhaigou
Introduce myself

I think I'm a lovely girl. Similar to other girls, I enjoy go shopping in my spare time, see romantic movies, and talk with others on internet. After graduation from university, I became a model. Maybe in most people's view, models are all very beaytiful and sure to have a good life. In fact, models' life is very hard, everyday long time practice, leg pain....We nearly have no holidays. I have a dream, travel all over the world with friends or by myself. Do you think my dream can come true?
